Below are some of the new features and improvements in VirtualLab Fusion version 2023.2
  • Distributed Computing now available in version 2023.2:
Newest optional VirtualLab Fusion program module that let's you use multiple computers to speed simulation, design and optimization.
The workflow to configure your simulation in VirtualLab Fusion is unchanged. It stays the same.
Simply define the clients on available computers in your network and get your results much faster.

  • More new features and improvements in version 2023.2
  • Better use of multicore processing for parallel calculations
  • New Parameter Variation Analyzer for more thorough optimization and tolerancing
Users have more control over optimization and tolerancing using additional programming snippets within parameter runs (also known as parameter sweeps).
This makes it possible to create user-defined evaluations of parameter runs for multiple configurations and enhanced optimization and tolerance analysis.
  • More add-ons for Universal Detectors (which were introduced in version 2023.1) to increase and simplify analyses
Universal Detectors in VirtualLab Fusion speed analyses by calculating the electromagnetic field once in the detector plane and later calculate all desired results for that detector in post processing.
  • More pre-configured universal detectors for radiometry, photometry, fiber coupling, regions within AR/VR lightguides, and more
  • Custom programming: More pre-programmed snipets to simplify custom programming of detectors and analyses
